These are great sneakers for younger kids but they have their problems. We purchased a pair for each of our kids. After two days one of them came home and there were a bunch of threads pulled out of the vertical seem on the very back of the shoe. I don’t know why they would put a seem there. Someone accidentally stepped on the back of the sneaker, which happens regularly. Then about 3 weeks after we got them the tab at the top (where the Velcro is) started splitting. That is the most frustrating thing because that’s the only way to keep the shoes snug. If the Velcro comes off that tab you won’t be able to close the shoes anymore. Fortunately, this is something that can be fixed with glue or some basic sewing. We still gave them a 4 despite the problems (it would have been a 2 or 3 if the problems couldn’t be fixed at home).
