Shades of Boogie and Blues ! The Canned Heat influence is predominant throughout but Carson sparks up their take on the genre with the prerequisite great harmonica work also also throws in some tasty saxophone and ( flute ?) as well. These Boys from Down Under prove they have honed their chops well. l find it quite interesting to hear of them many years after the fact and the somewhat dated sound is nevertheless enjoyable ,just as Canned Heat still is after these many years of listening to them. The volume is a little bit lacking on these recordings but well- mastered considering when the recordings were made. Very listenable and recommended to all Boggie Blues fans out there.
