Everything about these seems to match the description very well.The brass fittings might not take as much punishment as a steel fitting but I specifically wanted a brass version. I had a project where it was important to be able to solder the fittings in, not just screw them into another NPT fitting.These brass versions were perfect for that - easily soldered to copper too thin for a good threaded connection.I didn't see any defects or issues in the batch and they mated well with the other couplings
