I thought I had a good understanding of Remote Sensing until I purchased this text and took Prof. Olsen's class. The book is written very concisely but is packed with information. A background in Physics will be helpful in using this text as it covers Remote Sensing and Satellite Technology from the most fundamental levels.Since the book itself is somewhat small in size I plan to keep it with me as a handy reference throughout my career.
